wow, a Flemmie herd. I do believe they are hard to find good homes for because of their space requirements.

Hoppy Endings still has Sandy available, too,  even though he’s such a find! He’s Priscilla’s brother…

Aw! Why do all these bunnies show up WAAAY over there in the East?

Of course, if I could find room for him, I’d WALK to Canada to get Sandy! ^_^

But Lesley’s adoption requirements to take the extra horse and (?) I think a guinea pig kind of thwarts me also. lolz…

That’s what I was thinking Kristie. Either that or he’s a back yard breeder looking to downsize.

Mimzmum, LOL! Yes I’m not sure I could take on a horse, a gp, and a flemish giant which eats and poops almost as much as a horse, lol!! Bobby (Bunny Lu’s “ambassador” bunny) poops a ton! Either that or his litter box was somewhat over due! I mean…there was a mountain in his litter box, lol! I know gross, I’ll stop :-P! He’s so sweet, though! Bobby’ll sit in Mary Ellen’s chair and watch TV, lol!

Actually, that litter box was only there for a day and a half…lol

I want a flemmie in THE WORST WAY.  But I also really, really want Buttercup.

Oh my gosh! I thought Chewie pooped a lot!! LOL!!

I want a flemmie too and Sandy is becoming more tempting by the minute (well only if I don’t have to adopt a horse and a guinea pig, too lol)!! I know how you feel about getting Buttercup. Maybe not exactly, as with in my situation parents and moving won’t let me get a bunny, but close enough. I would suggest fostering and see how it goes, but we all know how “fostering” turns out, lol! Buttercup is a sweet heart and it looked like she loved you right back! I think either way, if you adopt her or if another family does, she’ll be fine :]! Anyways whatever you decide, I won’t think you’re a hoarder , lol!

                                    Ha!

I can’t foster her, Mary Ellen likes the bunnies to be at the shelter so people can meet them without having to do a bunch of coordinating for them to be there. She had bad luck with trying to get people to bring their fosters to meet potential adopters. The only ones she’ll generally let go into a foster situation are bunnies who are old/sick/hard to adopt because of behavioral issues. And, since I can’t get down there except for every other Saturday that definitely leaves me out, even if she did make an exception.

There’s a 5yr old buck at Channahon (Making A Difference Rescue)  Don’t know how far that is from you time wise though.

Edit: lol – i’ve just figured who you are via your bunnies.  You have Gizmo & Karma, (bridge bunnies Dudley & Shamrock) Yes?  These screen names are really throwing me!

bigsis, i seem to recall something about miniture pigs and Hoppy Endings Rescue too. So maybe one on those gets thrown in the deal!
