You can test the photo upload feature in this thread if you want just to get used to it.
- You click on "Attachments" below the text box.
- Browse your computer for photos you want. Be sure that they are smaller than 300kb which means they should be a gif or jpg file and you should be safe with it being sized 600 x 600 px max (otherwise you will get a note that says it's too large)
- Then click "Upload"
- Then click on "Insert Image"
Now you can move around the photo the way you want - you can actually resize it too - (though if you stretch it larger it will lose quality)
The photos you upload will also be stored in the "My Files" Tab - you delete or keep whatever photos you want. |

BB,
When you delete the photo from the My Files tab, does it get removed from wherever you posted it?
Or is a copy saved to the post?
This is the best improvement yet! |

This is the best improvement yet. These two were the same size to begin with, but I changed them by clicking and pulling the corner out or in.

A copy is saved to the post. If you delete the photo later in your Files Tab, the photo will NOT get removed from post. Also, if you delete the photo from your post, there will also still be copy of it in the Files Tab.
I just double-checked that to make sure it was working as it is supposed to be.

OK, got it too. BTW, that's way better than having to use photobucket 1st & then linking to there. |

Can the "Create Thumbnail" feature be utilised yet? If so - how do you do that? I've tried but no luck. |

okay - I am confused. I am trying to test uploading some pics that are saved to my computer as jpeg files but when I push the upload button I get a message that says "File type is not allowed". The pics is from my cell phone and I had sent it to my email and then saved to my computer as a jpeg file. Am I doing something wrong? Somebunny please help!! I really want you all to see my beautiful bun buns! |

Try opening it on your computer in Photoshop, then Save As a copy, save it as a jpg and rename the copy with a number 2. Then try to upload the copy. |

Never mind - I got it now!! Yay!
This is my beautiful angel Boogity aka Boogie Girl. Sadly she is no longer with us. She was the sweetest little bunny girl I've ever had the privelege to know and I miss her everyday. |

Glad we can finally see her. I like the little nicknames you have for them all. Will you put a tribute in the Support/memorials section of the forum? |

I find that the simplest program to use to resize a photo quickly, to any size larger or smaller, is Paint.
It's in your programs, mspaint.exe. If you can't find it, it's a download from Microsoft for free. |

You can resize on photobucket too, it automatically shrinks the res when you upload |
