Hi, BB,

Just thought I'd mention that my TOP POSTS button still doesn't bring up anything. (gets the error message.) I've assumed that you just haven't gotten to that part yet in your revamp, but in case you thought it was working, I thought I'd mention it. I'm using Firefox BTW. Sometimes that makes a difference.

And I have been having "Duh" moments. Do the bolded topic lines now mean that someone has added a new reply, and when the bold disappears it means I've read it? Sometimes I come back the next day, the line is bold, but it's still the same reply from the day before. I take that to mean that it gets bold again once I've shut down.

Anyway, it's looking great!

I'm not sure about the top posts thing, but you are correct that the bold subjects are unread and/or have new replies. This is the same way it was set up prior to the updates. What I do everytime I finish with a foum is click the "Mark All Read" button underneath the posts. This makes all the bold, unread posts show as read, so I am not rereading things I've already read (or am not planning on reading.) Oftentimes I'll do that if I've already replied to a thread and am not going to be replying again.

Sorry everyone, we're still not done. We have to continue most of this stuff on the weekends so though we started last weekend, we'll be finishing hopefully this weekend.

Once we are completely finished we will post to everyone that we are done updating and then we can go over whatever is left to be fixed that we didn't catch.

UPDATE: Still need to finish this weekend. We are having font problems, and our profiles do not show bio and email options, etc, etc, etc. Some of this stuff is just glitchy that the forum software provider is fixing and we'll have to get the patch from them.

Sorry for the delay, but just know we are still not done!

What's New is kind of an interesting alternative to Top Posts.

My pages are very slow to load. I assume that's because you're working on the site still.

BTW, when I type in the quick reply, the text is about 10 pt., but when it posts it's like 12 or 14. Was that on purpose? (For us myopic readers?)

Rabbitpam - it's still glitchy. This Thursday, after much nagging, my husband is taking the whole day off to fix all the stuff.

rabbitpam - the top post thing for some reason didn't get tranferred as a new feature in the forum update. So we tried to find a decent alternative which is now "What's New" . Hopefully that will be okay.

Actually, I'm finding I like the What's New feature much more, and check it first now.
The fact that it starts with the most recent post, so you're right there and only scroll back if you want to catch up from where you last read it, is soooooo much better.

You guys do a great job. I don't know where you find the time.
Hugs to Jack.

Oh good! And thank you....We TRY and find the time. It's only taken us a month to do what we should have been able to do in a few days. It's slow goins!
