So I picked Coco up from boarding at the Vet On Thursday evening – as soon as I got back into the city.

As expected, I got ignored when I walked in, Heavily ignored when trying to coax her into the carrier…Ignored some more when we opened her carrier to let her out into the bedroom ( where she promptly went into the Maze Haven to Ignore us some more)

It was nothing less than what I expected.

That night, I woke up to a binky fest on my bed. This promptly stopped when she realized I was awake. Back into the Maze Haven to ignore us pointedly some more.

I played it cool Friday. and was rewarded with some “I will groom myself in your eye line on the bed…but I will not respond to requests to rub me – You have not suffered enough”. Saturday had me bringing home a few extra treats for her salad. A couple of nice brussel sprouts and some very leafy kale, as I figured that it was time to actively make amends. By Saturday night, she was in the bed, blissed out, being rubbed – legs kicked to the side.

Husband came to bed and displaced her. She hopped down, then hopped back up for more rubbing. She assumed her position and I obliged. More rubbing and scratching of ears. She turned to hop back off when I felt it.

The tail was lifting. Aw #$@!. I start to sit up to shoo her and she launches pee directly towards my husband before flitting off the bed. ( she spent the rest of the night in her cage…and my husband and I had a fight about the rabbit)

Am I to correctly assume that in her opinion he has not made adequate amends to her royal rabbittyness? She never pees on my side of the bed. Only his. And now to pee ON him. Ouch.

Could be competition she feels.  He moved her so he could get in his bed.  She wanted her spot back.  Some buns are possessive of their parent   sometime one more than the other.

Apparantly you are that someone special.

Ohhh look at Cotton darting about on the couch.  HE better not pee up there. Let me go see.   HE is marking me with his stinky poos so I better check.  he smelled ruby on me.

speaking off…. peeing on things….. ahh noo he is just sittin gthere waiting fo rme ok.  til next time folks

Oh no! And I’m sorry that you and the husband had a fight about the rabbit She’s probably jealous of him! Does he do much of caring for the bunny? maybe if he was the one to give her pellets or treats or something she would start to be less jealous of him and see him as someone to get treats from!

No actual advice sorry. Just love that she did secret binky fest to celebrate being home then went back to snubbing you when she was discovered. Too funny!
