So wild bunny experts--i need some help: 
I recently found a baby bunny in our backyard, and near it two dead bunnies. At first it didnt react to anything but with coaxing it ran into the shoebox. My parents were skeptical so i was unfortunately forced to let it go, and it immediately ran into the tomato patch in our vegetable garden, really close to the dead bunnies. What should i do? Should i leave it there? Is there any way i could help it???

If it isn't injured, its bes to leave it. If it's still in the nest, Mama bun will come by and take care of it. You won't usually see Mama bun near hte nest, she'll stay away most of the time so that predators won't find it. But don't worry, baby bun should be fine!

Basically, you should leave the bunny alone, as its mother is probably nearby--unless you are positive that the baby has been orphaned and is not old enough to fend for itself, or if it has been injured. In either of those cases, you should get the bunny and put it in a quiet, safe place, and immediately call a wildlife rehabber. They are listed by state here. http://wildliferehabber.org/st_disp_list.php. You could also try calling a vet, some of them will treat wildlife, or will know of area rehabbers.

If you leave the bunny alone, you will need to keep dogs and cats up to give the bunny a better chance at survival.

This morning the dead bunnies were gone o.O And the bunny was still in the garden but it seemed to be injured, dragging its right hind leg. I placed it in a box and called the wildlife rehab center near our home and am now fixed to bring the bunny there this evening all will be well i hope!
