i thought maybe we could give some non-bun related info about ourselves, just to kind of put people in a context. i know we are not allowed to post last names or other identifying personal details. i was thinking hobbies, work, and any fun little tidbits you want to share. if this isn't allowed a forum leader can delete it and i apologize.

just in case it is allowed, i'll go first:

i'm 29 and live in new jersey. i work as a 1:1 aide for a child with special needs in a private school for disabled children. i've been at that school for two years, but this is my tenth year in that field. i have a degree in psychology that took me seven years to get, but i still don't know what i want to be when i grow up!  some of my favorite tv shows are the amazing race, forensic files, and glee (it's gotten so bad but i just can't let it go!). i'm vegan, and bake really awesome vegan desserts! i would love to open a vegan bakery someday.

I'm 25 and currently live in Ohio. I grew up here but spent two years in Philadelphia for school. I'm a full time student (going on 21 years a student...). I have a BA in history and religion, spent two years in a specialized language program for Greek and Latin in Philly, and am now in my final year as an MA student in comparative religion studying Early Christianity and it's connection to Greek religion/mythology. I want my PhD next and will hopefully be accepted to a school for next fall *fingers crossed* My favorite TV shows: Doctor Who (which is why my current location here at BB says "in the TARDIS"), Once Upon a Time (I'm quite fanatical about this show actually, it's getting to where it's all I talk about), and anything that is sci-fi or fantasy. I don't really have hobbies because I'm so busy with school but I really do love my research and it's allowed me to think about literature and TV in a whole new way. I love to read and wish I had more time for novels but when I do have time for a "real" book, I'm a sucker for the classics and Russian lit. I also indulge in historical fantasy quite often. I'm teaching myself how to cook--and eat healthier because I got into the habit of eating terribly due to the busy life of school.

I love threads like this, especially when we have so many new members to meet :-)

I'm 28 and I live in the Hudson Valley, a bit more than an hour north of NYC. I have two bunnies, Otto and Hannah, and now a new puppy, Watson, along with the husband. We live on 9 acres, but in a very suburban area, so we get the benefit of privacy while still being close to shops and work. We've only been here for a year and I love our house! Before that we were in Connecticut for 5 years.

I work at a manufacturing facility as an engineer for computer chips (well, technically server and video game chips rather than computers). DH works there too, along with pretty much all of our friends. I used to work for a food company, making cookies and Goldfish, but I much prefer this job!

I love spending time with the bunnies and the dog, and training all of them. I hope to get into obedience and agility with the pup when he's older, and we'll enter a few conformation shows to see how he does. I rode horses for 10+ years growing up (jumping and some polo) and I'm hoping to find a place near our new house to ride. It's super expensive though, so I've been putting it off. My other hobbies include reading (mostly the classics, 19th century British literature, and some non-fiction), cooking, and drinking wine and beer ;-)

This is a great idea. Haha, Elrohwen I love that your husband is put in with the animals!!

I'm 19 and live in Montreal. I am currently finishing my last semester in Cegep and am (hopefully) going to be starting University in Fall 2013 at McGill University. I'm studying to work in marketing/advertising, possibly Public Relations but I will likely stick with Marketing. It is all in the same program at McGill so I have some time to make that decision! I am currently working in a small retail store just to keep up with some bills (and spoiling Ruby of course) - I have been offered a job in my field but I have to finish my DEC (cegep degree for Quebec) first, so I will be starting my career at the beginning of January! I'm very excited about this. I am still completing University in case I don't like the marketing position at the company that has offered to hire me.

I spend the vast majority of my spare time with Ruby. The shows that I am currently obsessed with are: Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds and Greys Anatomy. I don't go out much as my peers spend a lot of time clubbing and going to bars - I am more of a relaxing-at-home kind of girl. I have recently started training a lot. I practiced Karate for five years, and unfortunately had to stop when I started attending cegep 3 years ago. I have started to train a lot in the past two months (not in Karate courses unfortunately), and am hoping to get as strong as I was back then. Depending on how this goes, I am considering doing a Triathlon in September 2013 or 2014.

My most recent addiction is BB - I check obsessively to see how everyone's buns are doing. And I finally have a place where I can obsess about Ruby and people don't think I'm insane for doing so! (No one understands it until they have one!!) I am so happy that I found this forum, I have come to the conclusion if every person could have a rabbit in their lives the world would be a much happier place. I'm very excited to be a part of such a caring community.

We still have no first names. I'm Anna!

I'm 21 and live in Michigan. I am basically a full time student and I work and lately I've been doing a lot of volunteer work. I'm going to school for my associates in business (to lock in my credits) and then I'll decide what I want to specialize in in business after that. BUT that might be put off if my knee doesn't behave I might be having another knee surgery after I finish my associates. I've had 2.5 surgeries on my one knee and sadly that has had a huge impact on my life. My first field and first love is Cosmetology. I have my degree and license and do hair here and there but my knees won't cooperate for full time.

So that brings me to my full time job- I own a business. Kinda inherited I guess you can say. My family asked me to sell all my aunts jewelry making supplies and some of her jewelry. So I do so on the internet- even have my own website. My largest store is on Etsy though and I've been lately doing a lot of sales on Tophatter.com. I didn't really like it at first except the hours which I choose, but it's growing on me. And I've learned more about beads than I imagined I would.

And in my spare time I hang out with the buns, play video games and volunteer with a local rabbit and small animal rescue. And right now I'm working on Maid of Honor stuff for my sister's wedding in December. Good times

Oh and if I get to watch TV, I like big bang, criminal minds, how I met your mother, and south park. I like bones and some other shows too but rarely see them and are so far behind its sad.

EDIT: 1500th post on here! Guess I should say I always make time to come on BB

My name is Svandis, I'm 18 y/o and I'm from Norway.

I grew up in a small town where everyone knows everyone and I currently live 1,5 hours north in a medium sized city (huge compared to where I'm from which is basically a village). I've moved in with my BF of 1,5 years, Sondre (19 y/o - @Rabbitmaster here on BB), who is from the next town over from where I'm from. I go to school and study psychology (have my first exams on wednesday and friday, totally freaking out!), but I don't know yet what I really want to do with my life. Sondre is working. Our apt is a small one bedroom, but the livingroom and kitchen is open plan and it feels light and roomy, we also have a small back yard. We love it here. We have a rabbit, Bosse, and two guinea pigs (but one will be given to my sister).

My hobbies include strength training (haven't really had a lot of extra time for exercising lately though due to school, but I trained pretty religiously for a few months and I plan on getting right back on track soon ). This is a hobby I share with the BF. I also enjoy reading, hanging with Bosse and the pigs, and watching tv shows (kind of an addict..). I enjoy shows like Six Feet Under, Nip/Tuck, Glee, Dexter, True Blood etc. We recently got Netflix in Norway and it is ruining my reading for the exams!! I have no self control. I'm also addicted to BB. Of course.

Me and the BF saying hi!

Would like to see some pics of you guys too, to match the names with faces But no pressure ofc.

Ill be the first minor shall I?

My name is Kate, and I live in Australia. We moved here 9...almost 10 months ago from England and I love it here. Hobbies include swimming, horse riding (6 years in the UK, 3 months out here ) reading, writing and more. I would like to one day take my horse riding into some sort of career, maybe training horses or running my own riding school or...well I would kind of like to go to the Olympics, but I don't know. When people talk about what they want to be at school, everybody has such easy to reach choices. Like lawyers or managers or chefs or doctors (I know, not exactly easy study wise, but easy compared to my dream!). I feel like me wanting to be at the Olympics is like wanting to be a Princess. But I won't give up, I'd like to compete, train and run my own riding school, and an writer in my spare time. I'm addicted to BinkyBunny, and I love talking to people on here. Your all so nice.
So...yeah, that's pretty much everything about me. Oh, and I get my bunny in about 2 weeks ^.^

Hellllllllloooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

My name is Brittany and I'm 25 years old. I live in Washington state (not to be mistaken with Washington DC!) in the USA. As of right now, I am a part time cashier at a grocery store and going to school full time (16 credits anyone) to become a Medical Assistant. I graduate in June, and my goals after that is to get a job (hopefully with an awesome boss), save up money, move out into an apartment with my boyfriend of 8 years, and take Chacha bun rabbit dating at a nearby shelter.

After I become an MA and gain experience, I want to go back for Nursing and possibly even more. One of my life long dreams is to travel the world: Anywhere from Japan, China, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Russia, Norway, Sweden, Germany, ETC I am really intrigued with other cultures and how they live. I find it pretty interesting how they live their daily lives. Plus, I want to eat lots of good food! My dad was stationed in Greece in the 1980's and seeing the photos inspired me to see our big world!

I don't see myself getting married for a long while. I want to become a self reliant person and do incredibly awesome things. I also want to get involved with Bunnies in Baskets, a non profit that trains rabbits to go to places such as care homes and elderly folks' homes to provide some furry therapy.

I'm pretty low maintenance and don't need much. In my spare time, I really enjoy playing video games (I'm currently playing Pokemon White 2 and am waiting for Call of Duty Black Ops 2, which I will continue to play with the [MISS] clan I am in), working out, hanging out with my bunny, reading, cooking, and just sleeping. I enjoy drinking on occasion and vodka is my absolute favorite I'm a pretty random person.

I have 2 tattoos and 1 ear piercing. The first tattoo I got was back in January 2010, a month after losing my Mom to Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. The tattoo is of the teal ribbon with the Japanese character for "My Mom," next to it. My mom was half Japanese - and Chacha's given name is Japanese (Koucha), which is something I did to honor my Mom. The second is of a Persian Proverb "This too shall pass" is tattooed on my upper back. I got it on the 2nd anniversary of my Mom's passing last year. My grandma went along and thought it was the most awesome thing to get. She even said, "Who doesn't have a tattoo nowadays!?!" I love my Mom and I miss her dearly, but I want her to know that I'm working hard so that I can help people that went through the same things she had to.

Random Fact: I think I'm pretty short. My parents are both mixed, and my Dad is 6 foot tall, and my Mom was 5'9''.. and I ended up being just 5'5''. Oh, and I also have an Instragram that is devoted to Chacha bun pictures

Here are some photos:

Did I mention that I met the Weasley Twins from Harry Potter? Don't kill me

People call this the "Mother / Daughter Wanted poster."

Hi all! It's so weird to see everyone's names!

I'm Bri...I'm almost 25 and originally from outside of Pittsburgh. I did my undergrad at the University of South Carolina in Marine Science with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. Go Gamecocks! I spent a little while working at SeaWorld Orlando before moving out to San Diego to go to grad school. I'm currently living with my boyfriend (and Lola!) while getting my Master's in Marine Science. So that pretty much is taking over my life right now. BB has been my outlet since I spend probably close to 12-14 hours a day on my computer between writing my thesis, analyzing data, and my part-time office job. :/

Hmmm other random things about me....I love football I used to be a huge Pittsburgh Steeler fan (and still kinda am) but find myself loving college football more and more. I love to cook and read. I'm super OCD and would rather clean my apartment and organize then just about anything else in the world. I am a huge Christmas freak and am currently trying to refrain from decorating for at least another week! I have PCOS so if there are any members that suffer with it as well I would love to chat - It would be nice to have a buddy to talk to about it! I'm obsessed with the show American Horror Story - but think the first season was way better than the current season (aliens, really?).

Oh I love when these threads pop up! Nice to meet you all .

I'm 23 years old, born in Taiwan but moved to Texas at an early age, and been here ever since! Went to college for degrees in psychology and human biology and a minor in Spanish (useful around these parts), and am currently in my second year of medical school. It's pretty nuts and kind of feels like trying to drink from a fire hose most of the time, but I like to think that Peppy keeps me sane - or more insane, jury's still out on that.

As for hobbies, I love listening to, playing, and writing music. I'm in a band with a few of my med school friends - we perform for some school events and also play the occasional show at bars/local live music venues when we can find the time..which unfortunately isn't as often as we'd like. I've been a lifelong bookworm, though I haven't read nearly as much as I'd like to in recent years since all I seem to do anymore is read textbooks haha. I also spend a few hours a week working as a research assistant to a doctor specializing in radiation oncology, which I think is really interesting! No guys in my life right now, but after getting out of an long-term relationship about a year ago I'm happy just doing things for myself and being single for a bit . Who needs guys when you have bunnies? (said the crazy bunny lady).

Oh, Sleepy, you are definitely not the oldest. I think I can say without a doubt that I am the oldest on BB. I am fifty-ahem. I got my first bunny when I was about 42, and didn't find the BB site until over 8 years later. I love that you guys are mostly 20-somethings. Makes me feel more like my real age, not my chronological age which is that of a middle-aged fart.

Edited to add more: I am single, which basically means I was spared the trouble of marrying and divorcing my ex-boyfriends.  I am devoted to my family, however, ie. siblings and parents, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and old friends.

I have a background in the arts, and for 13 years I found an outlet for my creative skills in curatorial museum work. However, with the down-turned economy I was laid off last year and it became time to leave museums and try to transfer my skills into a more lucrative field. Which hasn't happened for me yet since the whole economy glitch has hit every field in the US so they aren't giving the opportunities to newbies they used to when people had those "transferable" skills. So I am still job hunting, though I have taken a part time receptionist job with my veterinarian this month. She only does birds and exotics, so I'm learning all new stuff there.

I have a BA degree, did theatre performance from Jr. high through summer stock in college. I have a portfolio of artwork, really like photography (taking the pix) and working with Photoshop and design software. I am a good writer, can do research, project management, hang exhibitions and create the brochures for them myself, lecture to the public and make PowerPoint presentations. I made my own website using Google sites.

I love mysteries. DVD's, books, TV, movies. Give me a good detective and a dead body and I'm happy. Must be the quadruple Scorpio in me.

OH, I almost forgot! My name is Pam.

I'm Cyd, 22 years old and still insanely shy, I mostly lurk -but I swear I'm not a creep!!- I'm from Oregon but I recently moved to Texas. I am currently helping my mother in law who is a dog sitter but I'm planning on going to beauty school to be a hair dresser like my mother. I spend a lot of time alone because my husband's job takes him away a lot of the time and Zsa Zsa keeps me company! She's my new best friend since I don't know many people in Texas. I do some amature modeling and photography as a hobby, I also LOVE to read. My favorite author is Stephen King but Vonnegut is a very close second. I'm also very into gaming, especially horror games. I'm a Silent Hill fanatic!

Brittany! Your bun looks almost exactly like my Zsa, only she's not a mini.

Hello, all! **waves**

I like these threads too. I've started them quite a few times in the past. It's nice to get to know new members and sometimes get a re-fresher of some of the old members.

I'm Stephanie. I'm 30 and live in New Brunswick, Canada. Been here my whole life. I'm married to the love of my life and we have a small and furry family. Two bunnies: Bindi Loo and Olivia (and Stormy who is no longer here but always in my heart), 2 cats, Savana and Andy and 1 horse, Winnie. I'm a total "Crazy Bunny Lady". I have a very special place in my heart for rabbits.

My hobbies are BB (obviously, I spend a lot of time here), horseback riding, embroidery, reading (I'm a huge historical fiction nut, especially Tudor England). My dream is to visit England and Scotland. I love any and all things cute. I'm a vegetarian and very passionate about animal rights. Total Rock N Roll girl. Love Game of Thrones. Coffee addict and chocaholic.

I'm a big dreamer and I don't handle stress well. I'm a very unique gal and have always done and worn what I feel like. Not into trends. I'm very creative and I consider myself a very loyal and caring person.

This is the most recent pic I have. Me and Winnie a few weekends ago.

My name's Em and I'm pushing 30 (just over two weeks away) but apparently don't look it. I live in a rural town of about 4000 people about 10 km from the ocean as the crow flies, I'm not a beach person so rarely go there. I live in a subtropical part of the east coast of New South Wales and have lived in the same area all my life and the past 23 years in the same house... my mother got engaged and married a guy who happens to live 6 houses up the road so she moved in with him and I have the house to myself, 4 cats, 3 rabbits and a dog. I'm happily single, have no interest in marriage or having kids, I say I have a faulty maternal gene, I can't stand human kids but love all kinds of baby animals.

One of my hobbies is spinning wool and fibre into yarns, although I haven't done this for a while, lost my 'mojo' so to speak. I also studied agriculture and wool classing a few years ago and earlier this year was asked to judge rabbit fleeces at the big Sydney Royal Show... pretty much I looked at small samples of angora and swiss fox fleeces and judged them against each other. As far as I know I'm the only one who's judged the actual bunny fluff 'off rabbit' and have now judged at two major shows, who knows where I'll go with this!

Other than that I'm currently studying and hoping to get a decent job from it, I was working at a supermarket but as a casual they cut all my hours back to nothing and has been so since the middle of June. Here's hoping 2013 is a better year!

Old and crusty and living in Western Australia. I pay the morgage for 5 cats and 5 rabbits to rule the house.
Currently (and for the long foreseeable future) I manage the Occupational Health, Injury Management and HR for Australia's largest wholesale nursery. (I also do the payroll, which keeps me pretty busy too) Born in Sydney have travelled most of Australia during my time in the armed sevices where I learned and developed the skills that put me in my current employment. My home and garden are currently a shambles and I need to make some time to get it looking clean and tidy again. I use to work in clay but time has been a bit short lately, I hope to crank up my potters wheel again before the year ends or at the very least hand raise some dragons for the people who have been waiting patiently for them. Oh, and the last couple of years I have lost over 30 kg / 60 pounds after discovering I am gluten/wheat intolerant. No current photo's at the moment.

Very neat post! Great getting to know everyone
My name is Christiana, turning 22 on the 7th, and I'm from Texas. I get told all the time I look 15 O_o I currently have 8 pets in my house, 4 dogs; Kaycee, Bruce, Maddie, & Joey (Joey is just a foster though).
A cat, bird, turtle & 1 bunny. (in order; Ripley, Kramer, Rivan, & Mimzy)

I'm actually pretty shy & have a hard time talking to people especially in front of groups. I'm currently am not technically working, but I am a realist artist and do freelance portrait paintings of people's pets. I also do sports paintings for my boyfriend's dad. I don't really watch tv a whole lot, probably mostly because when I have the tv on, my bird finds it fun to scream louder than the tv hehe. I'm currently looking to start pet sitting for about a week at a time and being able to paint while doing so since I paint better when I'm not at my house. It's just easier to concentrate. I would love to always be involved with art and animals, they are great passions of mine. I used to want to open up a shelter for all kinds of animals. Rescue them off the streets & other situations, get them fixed up & back out to be adopted. I figured that might be too difficult though since I have a hard time trusting strangers with pets So I would now just like to continue to pursue my art in painting animals, that way they will always be in my life. I am very creative and if I can find a way to make it, I will unless I'm feeling lazy haha. Such as jewelry, dreamcatchers, frames, photo book cover, greeting cards, old letters (tea stained, dried with burnt edges), and other miscellaneous things. I've also made my bird's harness out of macrame' before but I lost it

Other things I like are urban/vintage things, Taylor Swift, sentimental gifts, feathers, checkered things, archery, plushies/plush keychains, Transformers, Pirates of the Carribean, Star Wars, LOTR, Spurs fan, horse & carriage rides (LOVE clydesdales), and chick flicks

Hi everyone! Nice to meet you all! Its been great getting to know you all through this website! You have all helped me through some pretty weird times! My name is Tracy...I'm 30 and from Wisconsin. I went to school for business managment at a little college in WI and now I am in banking, but also a manager! I love my job, but I miss my little stinkers when I am away! I have pictures of them up all over my office and everyday people ask me how my little bunns are doing. I am married and my husband is an auto technician. (Which is one of the reasons I was attracted to him...I love that he can fix cars!!). My two bunnies are Cupcake who is a 4 year old mini-rex and Dizzie who is a 2 year old (I think...she came from a rescue. She was left in a box on the rescue's doorstep, so I dont know that much about her life before me.) mini-rex also. They are both such a joy! The love that I receive from them is so amazing. I love scrapbooking and I USED to have a scrapbooking room, but now I have a scrapbooking corner...I gave up my space so Dizzie could have a room "of her own." Cupcake lives in the living room and won't leave that area because she HATES to walk on our hardwood floors. It works out good because My babies dont enjoy each other's company. The "Battle Royale" happened and they are happily seperated. I also love taking pictures. My hubby bought be a Canon Rebel (camera) for our wedding and I have been going crazy with it ever since! My back yard is a forest and nature preserve, so I love to go get lost in the woods and take pics of random things. Lately, it seems as though so many "bunny people" are coming out of the woodwork! I have a colleauge who just told me that he has a bunny, one of my new customers has 3 and during my latest trip to Petsmart, I met another bunny mom! I guess its catching on that bunnies make great pets!!

I love these threads

My name is Crystal, Im 22, vegetarian, live in Northern BC and have all my life. Currently I'm working 2 jobs, I've been working at a veterinary hospital for a few years now, as a receptionist/ward attendent/vet assitant/pharmacist, whatever you want to call it, I get bumped around. They are great to me and give me lots of hands on experience because I will eventually be going to school to become a Registered Animal Health Technologist... if I ever get my butt in gear and finish the last pre-req I also work in human resources at my local health authority. For those who don't know, all our hospitals, clinics, public health programs, etc. are run and managed by a "health authority" that are layed out by regions. Between the 2 jobs Im doing 50+ hours a week, but I can't bring myself to quit either job I went to university for a year and half after high school, but I realized that while I liked my classes, it just wasn't in a field that I wanted to pursue. I started working fulltime and saving like crazy and ended up spending a summer volunteering at a sea turtle conservation camp and a crocodile sanctuary in Mexico. It was the best thing I've ever done and that's when I realized that I would only be happy dedicating my life to animals.

I have my 2 rabbits and a cat. I still consider myself to have 2 dogs even though they live with my mom. 1 was hers and 1 was mine, but when I moved out I couldn't bear to split them up because they had been living together so long They still come over for doggy daycare now and then when my mom is teaching a late class and I'll come take them for walks if my friends are taking their dogs, so I do get to see them quite a bit still. I rode horses for most of my teens, but never got more competitive than the occaisional gymkhana.

In my spare time Im either with my animals, or I volunteer at my local horse rescue I also foster for the SPCA quite a bit, but I've taken a step back because of my crazy work schedule. I'm a pretty big introvert, so Im a big homebody. I love to read, me and my roommate are so bad, that we actually have a room in our house that we call the "library" because of our immense collection... I don't have a preferred genre, I'll pretty much read anything. I like to bake, and make vegetarian dishes that anti-tofu people actually like My favourite thing ever is Christmas and I'm already SO excited! My roommate is making me wait until after Rememberance Day to decorate though ... which is fair enough I guess haha

Looking young can throw off people, but it will be worth it as we age
People often mistake me as a high school still, and I get carded all the time for alcohol.

Haha tell me about it.  At least my male classmates can grow facial hair, but it's kind of awkward going around the hospital looking 18 lol.

I get carded a lot too. I don't think I look that young. Certainly not 19. I guess I dress pretty young. We went to the casino a few weeks ago and the security guy kept looking at the card, then looking at me. He carded my hubby too. Too funny. But I'm awful at guessing people's ages. I would probably card everyone from 18 to 40!

Haha "I think it's the Asian genes", good, I'm all set!!! Although I think the bunnies have a lot to do with it, all of you are seriously the nicest people I've ever seen all in one place - I've come to the conclusion that bunny people are happy people. They likely keep us young too!

Hey all,

I have a problem with writing REALLY long posts on BB, so don't mind the story book I'm most likely about to post!

I'm 24 (just turned - UGH!) and currently from Pittsburgh, PA. I'm originally from Western NY but moved here a year and a half ago to be with my boyfriend... of three weeks, HA! I know, talk about quick moving relationship. We've currently been dating for 1 year and 4 months! Before moving to PA, I was insanely obsessed with politics. Did a lot of work across the State of NY on campaigns and such and which is how I met my current boyfriend. At the time, I was studying Finance at a school in NY but after moving to Pittsburgh so abruptly I'll be hopefully re-starting school here in Pittsburgh this upcoming semester. Which I'm now going for Accounting since Pittsburgh doesn't have any Finance degrees, only Business degrees specializing in Finance (not what I'm looking for). I've put political work aside as has my boyfriend. But I'm still very much interested. But can't wait to hopefully start a life-long career in Accounting!

I've always been an animal lover and did a lot with horses back in NY. I originally had planned on having a career in training horses also and I used to show in jumping and hunter. A little barrel racing but not very much. Then politics happened. And now Pittsburgh happened! My boyfriend and I decided in March to get a bunny! Since we're not allowed animals in our condo (even though it's bought! go figure). Which is how we ended up with our first baby boy, Fleury. He's a Tan and we bought him from a breeder after she told us Tans are usually not for first-time bunny owners since they are crazy hyper... and well, crazy in general. He was 2 months old when we brought him home! A month later, we couldn't resist and went back for a 2nd litter mate, Sidney! She's a gorgeous black Tan also! And then... another month passed. And we ended up with Tanger! A chocolate Tan with a big attitude! We love our little buns to death (as I've become addicted to BB over the past few months which thankfully gives me a place to talk about my obsession with bunnies!) and they will all turn 9 months on the 15th of November.. *sigh* We are currently drooling over the last and fourth litter mate, Imbe. He's a lilac Tan whom the breeder decided to keep. We are still stalking him on her website and decided if she ever sells him we will take him and pay more than she's usually selling her Tans for.

As for hobbies, since I'm not around horses it's pretty much bunnies! I also love to read and scrapbook but really hope to get back into horses in the near future. My favorite shows right now are the Real Housewives, I know I know... and Game of Thrones (read all the books), Boardwalk Empire, Walking Dead, Dexter, True Blood (in the process of reading all the books!), and Law and Order: SVU!

Also, my name is Sandra!

My name is Jessy, and I will not remember any of your names unless they're in your signature (Sorry )

I'm 23 and I live in Orlando, Fl, with my boyfriend, our 4 cats, hedgehog, rabbit, snail, and turtle. I love being surrounded by my pets. I'm a student studying Environmental Science at University of Central Florida and I want to be a park ranger when I'm done. I have some experience in the field, hundreds of volunteer hours, and two weeks from now I will be a coastal naturalist so I'm excited to be done with school and move on to my passion!

I play roller derby as a hobby and I love it. Definitely the best thing I've done with my life. I started skating when I moved to Florida and met all of my friends and boyfriend through roller derby. I would not be where I am or who I am without this sport. It's crazy obbsessive.

uhm... I was a sea turtle volunteer for 4 years which consisted of locating and relocating nests if needed, inventorying nests after they hatched and releasing any babies stuck in the bottom of the nests. I worked as an assistant interpretive park ranger the summer after high school and I loved it. When I moved to florida I volunteered at a marine science center for a summer as a camp counselor and got hired on for the next two summers as a counselor and educator. I would love to become a falconer even though I don't really like birds. Raptors are neat.

I'm going to go get some ice cream now, so here are some pictures

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

This is my favorite picture of me skating

I'll post pictures of my pets later

Hello all I'm Lesley, almost 29 years old this month, live in the Portland area of Oregon. Originally from Vancouver BC though. I currently have 4 rabbits that own me, and a fuzzy man creature thing I call my hubby. I volunteer with a local rabbit group here in Oregon, the local humane society, and I also volunteer with a group that does rabbit transports.. the Bunderground Railroad It's tons of fun, and I get to see all sorts of cute little (and big!) rabbits all the time. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I read a lot, play a bunch of video games, and make jewelry. Recently started working for a local bead store, where I am teaching classes on weekends. Also tons of fun!

lmais -- I was COMPLETELY TEAM Bill... but THEN I read the books and because of this last season, I'm more Team Eric... I think! Hahahah, I was soooo sure I was Team Bill when I first started watching it but then the books made me mehhhhh Bill and then this last TV season made him absolutely insane and all of a sudden Eric is the good one! So hmmm.. For now I'm Team Eric. I've only read up to the 8th book though - so once I read 9 there's a good chance I'll be back to Bill.

Hi all,
my name is Jodie and I live in the UK. I am 24 and live with my fiance and 2 beautiful buns, Rexy and our newly aquired Toffee.
I am an accountant at an international clothing company and in my spare time.. (who has spare time with buns around?!) I enjoy horse riding, reading, watching TV (we love the walking dead series and game of thrones, also anything cooking related) and spending time with the special people in my life.
We are planning on buying a house in the next few years and I am keeping my fingers crossed that the buns will be able to go 'free range' and have their own room.

tanlover and malp - same here!! I wanted suki to forgive Bill when she first found out he had lied to her but then I switched to team Eric I think once he lost his memory. He was so cute and confused haha, and now he's all nice. Plus, the authority?? WTF Bill!! I haven't read any of the books, just watching the show. I have a feeling one would ruin the other for me - that's usually how it goes. Yet another reason for me to prefer summer over winter haha!

The books are actually pretty darn different from the show -- I'm not sure I would even ever dare compare the two!

And I totally know what you mean... The cute and confused thing is even better in the book! And I know, I hate Bill and the authority now! UGH. I hate it. And I know what you mean about books ruining shows, hahah. The Game of Thrones did that to me although the show actually does quite a good job at keeping up with the book but eliminates too much awesome stuff!

Haha, did you ever read or see "The Lovely Bones"? It's really different from TB but anyways haha... I read the book and absolutely ADORED it, I literally didn't put it down until I was done (such a productive day off, this was of course before I had Ruby lol). One of my friends convinced me to go see the movie and I was getting so upset at the changes they were making - and of course the casting was just all wrong.

I also saw the Harry Potter movies before I started reading them, and never could get into the books as much as I liked the movies.

Now I just stick to one or the other haha - and that friend never tries to convince me into seeing a movie again after I chewed her ear off about all the things that they got wrong!

Tanlover, not sure if it's near you, but if you're looking for a place to ride hunter/jumper in Pittsburgh I would highly recommend Bargee Farm. I grew up riding there for 10 years and it's a beautiful facility. The lesson horses are generally high quality (some retired from the professional circuit), and they let a few of the more experienced lesson people ride some of the show horses.

I'm probably the youngest here, as I'm still in high school. Despite that I've done a lot of research on rabbits, volunteer at a shelter, and have talked to many pet stores via email about their products. I like to write and am interested in women's studies, phycology, and animal rights.

Why did I never see this post? Haha, I love this!

My name is Jordan. I am 22 years old and I live with my boyfriend of 2 years. I live in a small town in Massachusetts. I grew up in Rhode Island but moved here to be with the Boyfriend. I do not miss RI at all even though it is only one state away. We only have our three bunnies. We live in an apartment the size of an armpit attached to his parents house (unfortunately!). Which is why Sophie and Gretel are free range. There isn't really much for them to get into and they can't go very far. I work in retail and absolutely hate it. I'm hoping to start school in the fall for Business. In a perfect world, I would have my own animal rescue. But that probably will not happen, lol. I don't get to read as much as I used to but it is a favorite of mine. Hunger Games, anyone? Aside from rabbits, I am obsessed with makeup. Glamour and movie alike. I would love to be on SyFy's Face Off, but I'm not that good yet, haha. I probably have the worst taste in movies, at least in most peoples opinions. I love the Labyrinth, The Last Unicorn, Free Willy 1+2, Look Who's Talking (all of them), Happily Ever After, Beethoven, etc. I could watch them all multiple times a day. So, yeah, that's a little bit about me! Also, a side bit. My New Years resolution is to post on here more often!

Yay, I love topics like this as well.

My name is Regina. I'm 27 years old and live in the San Francisco bay area.

I've worked in the eCommerce business and the same company ever since I graduated college, so five years plus. I've mostly been in Supply Chain/Operations, which has nothing to do with my English major. I did have a Technical Writing stint for about 11 months though.

I love to sleep and am obsessed with shoes. I like watching Amazing Race, Project Runway, and of course, real life shows about homicide and such. I just got into Pawn Stars and can't stop watching it now. I also enjoy going to fairs to ride the crazy rides and look at rabbits. My weekends have mostly been dedicated to watching Niners now that baseball season is over.

I recently bought a house and get the keys tomorrow! I can't wait to decorate and have all these ideas already but have to wait to see how broke I will be. My buns, Cheddy and Poopy (Cheddar and Pepperoni are their actual names) have been living at my boyfriend's with me for about a month now. They are just getting used to it since his place is a lot smaller than my old apartment. I'm hoping to move into my new place in a couple of months which means more adjusting for them. I can't wait to see them hop up and down flights of stairs. So cute.

Here's a picture of me a couple months ago when I hosted a baby shower for my cousin.

The tide always turns.

I'm attending college for Radiology hoping to start the program summer of 2014. (Gotta love pre-requisites lol). I'm engaged to a wonderful man named Chris. I met chris at school back when we originally aspired to be teachers. (Now he's going for nursing).

In my spare time, which I don't get much of haha. I enjoy reading mostly murder mysteries. As far as tv goes I enjoy the big bang theory and grey's anatomy and Roseanne whenever I happen to catch it on.

I have 2 fish tanks, one freshwater and one saltwater, One white-faced cockatiel named Smokey, One dutch rabbit (Dulce) and one 3 year old black lab/chow chow mix named Echo.

Yay, I'm underage! My name's Aliza Took (I wish ) and like I've said, since, what, second grade, I like art, reading, writing, bunnies, and, of course, reading and writing about bunnies. I'd like to say I'm working hard on the book I plan to self publish one day (by one day I mean like 2 years), but I haven't touched the draft since mid-December. I'm in love with my awesome bun, Peanut, and throughout the break I continuously go to bb (and another site I won't mention because it's copyrighted and whatnot). As I type, my bunny is digging at the back of my shirt, on my bed, which he always hops on . It's embarrassing to say, but I occasionally (meaning daily) play a "Binky game" with Peanut, because he binkies every day. I don't have much else to say... I'm hoping to be an author or vet one day, or both. Oh, right. I LOVE Doctor Who and the science show Nova, and I am a HUGE fan of the Harry Potter books, the Lord of the Rings trilogy (hence the name Took, courtesy of Peregrin, and Aliza, my middle name), and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. I'm pretty knowledgable about rabbits because I've done months of "research" (reading every rabbit info website I could find) and counting. I've already read almost every article on the house rabbit society website and Binky bunny. Well, that's that.

Hmm I've thought about posting in here and finally decided to.

I'm Noah, just turned 18, I currently reside at my parents place about an hour outside of Pittsburgh (But I look forward to maybe moving to Memphis, Tennessee with my girlfriend, so she can be close to her family.) often times I forget my age, because I enjoy cartoons and playing cars with my two year old nephew.  I'm the youngest of four, so I was normally left out of activities with my siblings, which was the start of my love for animals. I want to open a shelter when I'm out of school and college, and I want to go to college for photography and digital design. As I mentioned, I am a proud Uncle of a two year old monster, and the proud daddy of two bunnies and two dogs, and probably two cats in the future (My girlfriend is more of a cat person, and has two cats.) Hmm, what else? Oh, I'm always told I have a baby face, it gets annoying after awhile, but I just say that I won't look terribly old when I'm 40, like my dad.

I have ADHD (Among other things) so I do get off topic fairly often. And I love music, I play guitar (Self-taught) and sing (Not very well) And I'm trying to teach myself piano (With no success.). I'm into tattoos, my friends always joke that I'm going to be this big tattooed guy at the vets office cooing over his rabbits,  which is probably true. Hmmmm. I think that's about it, I've been trying to convince my mom to allow me to have a snake,(All animals have to be approved by her. She wasn't too sure about the rabbits at first, but she loves them now.) but she's not budging, I guess I'll just wait until I move out. I thought about putting a picture, but decided that there's no reason, my rabbits are cuter. :p

I'm new here, so thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Rebecca, I have one bunny, Alvin, and one dog, a Rough Collie named Natasha. I live in Taiwan. I like to play with my camera and take pictures of *everything*, the pictures aren't always good, but once in awhile I get lucky with a really good shot of something. I am going to Tzu Chi University in February after Chinese New Year, eventually I want to take painting and calligraphy lessons there.  My favorite TV shows are the old Mission:Impossible series(60's/70's, not the late 80's revamp), 3rd Rock from the Sun, Stargate(SG-1 & Atlantis only), Supernatural, and Psych. I enjoy hiking and beach-combing.

Here's the most recent photo of myself, I do *not* normally take photos of myself, but I was messing around with my camera and had my Santa hat on and Alvin was on my headboard behind me, so I started taking photos of me and him. None of them turned out good, so I turned them into goofy pictures.

I'm Cortney, I currently live in Okinawa, Japan! I have 3 cats, but only one currently lives with us (he was born here in Japan), and his name is Noble. My other two cats, Kaylee and Baylee, are living with my parents. I couldn't bring them with me since one had just recovered from a severe illness only a month or two before I left and I didn't want to stress her out and risk a relapse by a 24 hour trip. We leave the island in November to go to...we don't know yet! It could be anywhere in the world!

I have one bunny who recently joined our family, her name is Rhosgobel!

I am 24, and I'm a self employed photographer! I LOVE my job, and I'm so blessed!

Hello! I'm Lauren and I'm 24. I live in the south west of England, UK with my boyfriend of almost 3 years.
I had a rabbit many years ago when I was about 5 but Merlin is our first since then. We've only been living together for 5 months but I'm hoping Merlin is the first of many furbabies

I have the best job in the world: I work for my local RSPCA rescue centre and look after a kennel block of 20 beautiful dogs until they can find their forever homes! I've been doing this for nearly 5 years now and can't imagine doing anything else!
My hobbies are reading and photography and at the moment I am totally addicted to watching greys anatomy, supernatural and how I met your mother.

Hello everyone! My name is Brooke and I'm 31 years old. I'm married to a man I absolutely adore. We met 11 years ago in college and as soon as I saw him I fell head-over-heels in love. We dated briefly but things didn't work out and we wound up going separate ways. I married a military man that was completely incompatible for me and when it didn't work out, we separated and my one true love and I found our ways back to each other. We just recently purchased our first house together on 11 acres in the middle of the woods and love it! I work overnights as a 911 dispatcher and he is a police K9 officer with the same city.

We don't have any children and probably won't, but we have a huge fur family that somehow lives in complete harmony. Three dogs: an 11-year-old Italian Greyhound named Eddie, a 3-year-old hound mix named Lady, and a 3ish-year-old pit bull named Pitty (Pittypat). Sweet Pitty is the exception to everyone's pit bull rule -- she's the sweetest, gentlest, most loving dog I've ever known and I wouldn't trade her for anything. I found her at 1am in the middle of a busy highway, pregnant, and dumped. I was scared to even pull over knowing she was a pit bull, but she climbed right in the passenger seat like she belonged. We tried desperately to find her home (or a new one) but the longer we kept her, the more of our hearts she stole. We don't regret any part of bringing her into our lives.

We have three cats as well; Max is 10 years old and also a grouchy old man (but he sure does love me!). Oscar is our little lion man; at 8 months, he's only 2.5 lbs and refusing to grow. We're pretty sure he has pituitary dwarfism but that just makes us love him even more. Charlie is our little dumpster kitten and my absolute heart. I found him in the pouring rain under a big trash can next to a busy road at just 3 weeks of age. He's the little spoon to my big spoon every night.

Stuart is our newest addition to the crazy menagerie that owns us. He's so cool, too! I never really thought a bunny could be anything but mean or an animal meant to be kept outside, but he's changed my perception. We also have a small flock of 5 chickens that are more like pets than livestock. They all have names and come running when called.

Eddie is on the far left, Lady is the big cow hound, Pitty is the big brown kitten pillow, and sweet Charlie is that precious lamb wearing the formal attire! This is a general idea of how our couch looks at any given moment. We love it!

Oh I love that photo! Sounds like a precious fur (and feather!) family. : )
Whoever says "It's only a rabbit" has obviously never loved a rabbit.

My name is Jennifer and I'm 28 living in Oregon. I was laid off from my job of 6 years a couple months ago and am now trying out the homemaker thing while I figure out what my next step in life will be. I'm thoroughly enjoying spending more time with my pets and husband. My hobbies include video games, painting, reading, writing, dog and cat nutrition, and dog training.I don't have any non fur-covered children and we don't plan on having any for a while yet.

I think that's all for now! This is a really enjoyable thread.

Hi all!

Im Sam, 24y/o and from Buffalo NY. I'm currently in nursing school and will graduate in may of 2014 with my BSN RN. I want to be a critical care nurse and get my NP and doctorate. I work as a secretary for the emergency department at a local hospital and as a microscope repair tech. In the summer I also life guard. I live with my boyfriend of two years who also works full time in a foundry. Our only pets are our two buns, bunbuns and ophelia. For fun, we skii and snowboard. I love to shop and work out but school gets in the way for doing anything fun so mostly I study, work and clean.

Im jealous of all the other furbabies everyone has! I cant wait to have my own house to fill with rescues. One of John and I's goals is to be foster parents for local rescues. I have always had a soft spot for bullies (pits, bulldogs, boxers, terriers) and would love to show the world what sweet hearts they are.

When I have a free moment or two I love to read and do word puzzles. I dont have cable or dish so I watch whats on network tv. Big bang theory, once upon a time, and the neighbors are my favorites.
