Tomorrow is the big day for three bunnies!!! Cinnamon is getting neutered, Raven Spayed, and Chipmunk is getting his toe amputated. As always I am worried bout them, but I have a great vet who has helped me with all my buns so all should be good. I will keep everyone posted!!

well I am now at school, I gave each of my munchkins a kiss and cuddle and said I would be back to get them. Cinnamon and Havel were like sure whatever, but Raven gave me this look that said please don't leave me and didnt want to let go. But I know she will be ok, my vet has got me through 5 neuters and 1 spay so far with no problems, and is always there when I need her day or night. So I am going to try to be good and not worry, but I still do cause they are my babies lol. |

ok Raven is resting in her cage, and has already started drinking water. Cinnamon is also resting and has already started eating hay. Chipmunk is relaxing nom noming on hay too. so here is the story with Chipy, Some how he had torn the ligiments in the toe and muscle tissue. but what was protruding from the bottom of his foot was not bone but a toenail that was growing backwards! but the toe definatly had to come off the vet said. and no signs of infection, he has to go back in 10 days to get his suchers removed. and now got to watch him to make sure no chewing occurs. thanks for all the vibes everyone. |

Been watching the thread and keeping you in my thoughts. So glad all went well for the Speuter. Poor little Chipmunk but I supppose a broken nail is better than a broken toe. Give the little one cuddles from my herd. |

the nail wasn't broken he just had one growing out of the bottom of his foot, and the toe was so damaged it still had to come off. but he seems to be resting comfortably and has ate drank and pooped! I even got Raven to eat a raisin, but she is now sleeping. cinnamon, oh boy, wont hold still like always and is his normal energizer bunny self, so I need to watch him so he dont hurt himself. |

Poor little Chipmunk, I miss understood. I thought he kept his toe but if the nail was growing through I can understand why they had to take it. Cinnamon is gorgeous and reminds me of my Pepper, also very active and the first one into everything. Pepper is due to go in for her Spay once the others Pipi, Blossom and Nermal are done. I am dreading it, I don't know what I would do if I lost any of them. Your buns have such a wonderful Mum and Dad.... It's no wonder they are recovering well. |

Hahahah, Cinnamon sounds like my brat boy. When he came home from his neuter he gobbled down a huge supper and then started banging on his cage to come out. I swear -- it was the worst three days of keeping him completely confined. He was one MAD bunny. And on the 4th day when we finally let him out to roam in the play area I only let him have 15 minutes out and he definitely had in his head he was never going back in that cage again! LOL. I had to push his butt the whole way there across the carpet (literally). While he held on to the carpet with his little paws dreading the return to the cage! I've never seen so many binkies and bunny 500's as he did when he finally got to come out fully healed! LOL!! Agree with Roberta, you are such a good bunny daddy! All those buns are soooo lucky. I felt sooo bad with our girls spay because she was really skittish as it was and would never let anyone touch her and I thought for sure she would come out even more upset and stressed and distant from us... but when she healed she became such a goofy, silly bun and became WAY more curious of us. She now loves climbing on our laps and even spends way more time getting pets and loving from us than the boys do since while they're being nuts she's always hanging around us. It makes me soooooo happy that I did that for her. She is DEFINITELY a much happier and healthier bunny. Her personality has come out soo much since and she's a total riot. Surgery seems horrifying to send our buns too but in the end, it's usually almost always the best decision. <3 |

Binkies! Very happy to hear the surgeries went well. I'd be a mess having 3 go in at once. I have 2 yet to be spayed and I'm so nervous! i had thought it supposed to get easier. Nope. |
