Do your bunnies act differently towards you when they're shedding?

Lolli is now finally molting.  I've kind of been waiting and waiting.  Not because I like it but she usually has two molts per year and she hasn't had one since last fall.  lol   She knows she's shedding and she knows it means plucking and brushing.  Sometimes when she's flopped during free time she will let me crawl up to her and give her kisses and pets.  Last night, all I could give her were kisses.  Any time my hand came near her, she hopped off.  LOL  AND....the stinker would turn around and give me the "uh-uhhhh" look.  

Of course it doesn't help as she's hopping around that I keep telling her she's a porcupine and I want to pluck her.  LOL 

That's funny. I say things like that to my buns too. 2 out of 3 of them definitely try to avoid me when they are going through a molt. One of my buns loves being plucked because he enjoys the extra attention and he doesn't mind me touching most of his body, apart from his feet and tummy. Two of mine are molting now and it happens to be the two that hate being plucked. My other bun normally starts molting once the others have finished.

My buns always seem a bit grumpy and tired when they first start shedding. I think that having the "porcupine look" upsets them. They like being brushed a lot more than normal when they're shedding really heavily, though!
