I think I may be getting a little ahead of myself, but I am so gosh darn excited!!! After all the stuff thats been happening at work with the other employees here (as mentioned in one of my other threads), the company has decided to give everyone a pay cut so that they can make ends meet. We were all promised a pay rise at the beginning of 2010, so this came as a huge shock to all of us, except Phil, who is the shifty one... he still got his pay rise. So everything felt a bit unfair for a while there
but I have been getting my resume up to date, and now its finished and I logged online to have a look at what jobs are available... And today guess what was listed on careerone?!?!?!?!?!? My local vet (which is about 3 doors down from myhouse) are looking for a veterinary nurse! I have contacted them about the position, and they said its to assist the vet in surgery etc, I have the neccesary experience from working with the vets at the farm etc, and that they will provide full training to the successful applicant!!! And Im a bit ahead of myself but I am so excited!!! I know its only a small chance that I could actually get it, but Im just excited to apply because at least its a step out the door of this place!!!
Just had to share with you all I hope I get it I hope I get it! fingers crossed!

Good luck! Leroy, Jeannie and I have our respective ears and fingers crossed for you! Sounds like a GREAT opportunity and definitely a more fun/rewarding job than what you're dealing with right now. |

Corpathina... The driving is really tiring! And the petrol adds up! Plus last night when I left I transferred the phone to my bosss mobile like I do every night and left... When I got halfway home my bosss wife called and yelled at me for putting them through to him. I was half an hour away! She told me to turn around and go back to the office to put them through to someone else (wanted me to take calls all weekend too) so I drove back and put them through to Suzy their daughter instead, but didn't get home until after 7 cause then their dog ran away and I had to chase it around the block. Lol! 49 hours 20 minutes to go! |
