Took 35 seconds to stop trying to load 1 MB and pop up message about 500 kb limit. Took 20ish seconds to upload a 300 kb image. However, once I inserted it, I right clicked it, got Properties, linked the Width and Height, then resized it to 1800 w and it accepted it. It seems to be staying within the confines of the post, no matter how large it looks in the Properties (If you go into Edit, you'll see what I did and what it looks like). Is there any way to get the corner resizing option back, rather than changing the size numerically? I don't know ahead of time what number is the size I want, and the image doesn't drag around easily like it used to. Are you still working on this feature?
I did this little test because members are posting really large pix that seem to run to the limit, and it's just not as good for viewing as the older ways were. (The method just before this past fix, that had the corners to pull only, was great. Also, there was a resize button to get there I think.) Thanks.

OK, Easiest way to reduce a pic for an upload is to open it in or copy and paste it to Microsoft Paint. (in the accessories) then go to resize and keep cutting down the percentage until its 600x 400 or smaller, save the pic but make sure its in JPG format. Also once your pic is uploaded you can click and reduce by pulling the corners with your curser.

Roberta, thanks, but it no longer has the pulling corner feature. I know how to reduce it, I was asking BB how to stop it from being so huge and still showing. I would love the corner pulling feature back, but it's not available now. You can see how to do it now if you read peppypoo's post in one of the pushpins. I thought I'd show this to BB to see if it can be tightened up as a feature since the new update. Thanks for helping, though! |

Hi Pam,
Just used the corner pulling...
If you go in and edit then click on the pic go all the way over to the right (probably click on the pick then) and push it in.
I'll nip in and edit the other pic and resize it. |

Hmm. Interesting. I went into my first post, right clicked it, slid over to the right and no corner pulls appeared. I'm using Chrome, btw at the moment. I sent an alert to BB to ask her if this is still a work in progress, or possibly a glitch I have but others don't. Thanks for looking at this with me. It's info. that will help BB. |

Hi Pam, Went back in managed to push and pull pics no problem. I'm using Firefox. Dumped Explorer a long time ago and every one I know who uses Chrome has issues. |

Sigh. That makes sense. I dumped IE years ago, too. Then, when Firefox (which I love) wouldn't load Farmville right anymore about 2 years ago, I started Chrome. I literally use both daily. So if BB is OK on Firefox, but not on Chrome, that wouldn't surprise me at all. (will go test that now.) All info. BB needs to know since they are testing the update on different systems. Seems like the more gadgets and new software, the more nightmares for programmers. I think I'll go out and buy some stamps. Will write you guys letters, and draw portraits in my bunnies to enclose. |

Too funny, Roberta. I just went to close and there is a huge ad at the top for Image Converter downloadable software. It's an ad, so I won't do it, (I have Paint, too) but they are reading our conversation here and inserting ads we may like. |

There is a size limit regardless of what you add to the resizing box however, we may need to make the force resizing size smaller. I will add this to our to check and/or to do list. Thank you! |
