I filled a small paper bag filled with treats and hays to my buns today.  I turn around for few minutes and when I come back, Toki’s head was stuck!

Apparently, she ripped the bag and tried to get inside it but got her head stuck in it.  She was turning her head trying to see something other than ‘brown’ and totally panicking.  I didn’t know whether to laugh at her will to eat or to feel bad.

Oh my! I would be a bit torn about that too! I usually roll the opening down so they have to rip it open and if that doesn’t do the trick try poking two holes and tying it shut with raffia. Poor thing.

considering she wasn’t harmed or anything, it strikes me as funny. what a classic bunny move

My very large bunny decided when his cage door was open to instead of going around it, go under. My bunny is at least 4 inches tall. The clearance is only 2. He got stuck half way through and u’d swear he’d gotten a full frontal lobotomy. The front half of his body was moving completely independent of the back. In the end he got free.

Waddya know, when its time to go back in the cage, he tries once again to squeeze under the door. This time, halfway through, he decided to fall asleep. I woke him twice to try to get him to go back into his cage, but he wouldnt have it so i left him there for a full 15 minutes, when i came back he had already gotten back in his cage.
