Hey all

I've had my boys for a good two years but i've never seen them play much. I ofer them paper bags of hay, balls made from veggies, hay balls, even kid toys! They would rather just sit and eat or spread out on the living room floor to sleep.

Anyone have any ideas on what I could get this chrismas to perk my boys up? They are lazyer than my cats.

lol!  rabbits sure do have their own mind don't they?  i wonder if they'd be interested in the low-budget toys my bun occupies her time with.  an old phone book is good... she sits in the middle of it and shreds away.  an old magazine or multi-page flyer will do in a pinch.  also anything cardboard is good.  the more time i lovingly spend putting something together the *less* interest she shows in it 

er... except for her diggy box that is.  i took a cardboard lid, turned it upside down, lined it with brown recycled paper and put hay and crumpled paper balls in it.  voila!  any elaborate toy i've bought is either ignored or literally tossed right out of her room!  good luck

If you put a box on the floor, will they go into it?  IF so they might like the "Ton of Fun Bunny Run"  I like to put hanging toys, and stick a tasty treat inside one of the hanging toys.   it makes it more challenging for them.

Also, it might help when you feed them to spread their food all over the place so they have to get their bunny butts movin'.  Good exercise.

BB i just checked out the link you posted here for the bunny run and had to say... the pic of Rucy with the caption "Whatcha ya lookin at?..." is HILARIOUS!  what an expression LOL!  her wee face reminds me of the little guy from different strokes who always said "whatchoo talkin bout Willis?"

I've found that they most enjoy cardboard boxes with big holes so they can run through and chase each other. Also, one of the buns really likes plastic baby toys, like fake key rings, that he can pick up with his mouth and toss around. Otherwise, they're pretty sedentary... except at night! We can hear them running around when we're asleep

Thanks bunsmom!  LOL!!   Rucy is definitely a character.  She's the first one to explore and she doesn't like anyone getting in her way.  She was not happy with the camera flash the first time, and came out to see what was going on.
