Hiya!

So I have an xpen for my girlzz..we have two that are combined together.. i usually just use it for play time but now i am thinking about attaching it to the cage so that they can play in it whenever they like and so that they have a much larger area. 

The only problem is that they always bite at it and manage to move it

Is there any way that i  can keep it in place? My floors are hardwood.

Can you attach it to anything with zip ties? That's the only thing between my buns and them tearing the whole house apart. LOL. And they do know how to shake a cage with the best of 'em!

we use these mini clips from home depot by the wood clamps (look like mini ones of those) to hold our pens and cage doors in place. They're super cheap. Hope you can find them.

i was thinking of attaching them to dumbells with zipties tanlover..there isnt really anything around the area except a small wall that the cage is against...

You'd be shocked at what they can move. I'm pretty sure my 4lb brats could move a dumbbell unless it was a pretty sufficient size, hahaha.

Could either of you possibly post a pic with what you mean? I'm thinking of moving Pippa back to her xpen/cage set up, but I also have always had problems with her shaking the bars and moving it out of shape. I can attach the xpen to the cage easily because the pen came with 3 clips to keep it together.
Before we kept a section of wire on top of blankets and attached it that way partly because I know she's gonna eat whatever is underneath her. I know wire isn't good for bunny paws but I hoped it would be okay since she had something directly underneath it. This time around I was hoping to find another way to attach it, though I might keep the wood boards I'm using as the levels in her cage now as the base so she doesn't try to eat the carpet and to help with cleanup.

I finally figured it out. I used dumbells and it worked great..
i am actually redoing their xpens later today..will post a pic for you when im done
