Hi bunny parents. I am looking for a long last toy for my rabbit sunshine. When I save up some money I am going to purchase toys online. I have already tried the cottontail cottage. This would be a toy for her cage when she is in there? THanks

depends on the personality of Sunshine…

is she a chewer… digger.. does she enjoy hiding etc… tell us a little bit more about her personality..

you can also scroll through the toys forum there are always TONS of ideas in there.

She is a chewer and she does love to dig. She also loves to hide. I can’t really say there isn’t anything she doesn’t love doing!

well i have heard a lot about hanging toy baby keys *really hard plastic and durable

either keys or just interlocking rings..

for digging throw a cardboard box in her cage and put in shredded newspaper so she can shuffle it around.. *it gets messy but its a fun, cheap option.

OR! if her cage is big enough throw in your normal yellow pages phone book and some bunnies enjoy shredding the pages.. just be mindful that she doesnt eat too much of the paper.. the ink could be harmful.

i personally have a hanging twine string that has different shapes of wood *untreated!* they clang and he can gnaw on them. and he has to put in effort to reach up to play.

try a trip to toys are us and find jangly clangy HARD plastic toys to hang in her cage.. they’re safe long lasting toys,
