Once I brought my bunny home, I knew he'd need a pretty big cage. I had my husband help me make this, I designed it and he helped me build it. It's super sturdy, with linoleum over plywood floors and small wood framing to catch hay and stray pills and give it a nice frame. We started with a ramp but he just didn't seem to get it, and it looked too steep no matter how I adjusted it. So we took a spare piece of plywood and made a corner shelf/ledge that I stapled an old hand towel onto for traction. After he got that (with the help of some apple to convince him) he now pretty much spends all his time upstairs. My husband jokes that we didn't even need to build the bottom floor, but I think I just need to get him some fun toys or something to do down there.
