I was wondering if the cardboard drink carriers that you get from fast food restaurants are safe for the bunnies to chew on? 

That's a good question cause Hunny loves them!

I've given those before and my buns will nibble on them. It's not something you want them "consuming" tho. Chewing and nibbling is okay, but eating is not (like for any types of cardboard or paper).

thanks for the info... Cyrus is not much of a cardboard chewer, I just wanted to make sure it was OK before I gave her one to play with when she has floor time. Cyrus likes to push empty tissue boxes around and goes through them like a tunnel.

Hunny don't actually eat it... She chews & shreds & leaves a nice pile of shredded cardboard for me to clean up... Unless my kids go walking thru it before I get a chance to clean up then I'm finding shredded cardboard days later in the most random places, lol. She loves egg cartons too... she'll chew off all the lil' egg compartment knobbies & then she's spent...
