My little bun seems to get bored very easily. I've tried several different kinds of toys, stuff for tossing (which she doesn't like), wood toys and balls to chew on and toss, cardboard boxes, paper bags, toilet paper rolls, and a blanket which she loves. Some of the toys she still plays with but most of the time anymore she just chews them up. She used to love throwing around the rolls and bags but lately as soon as I give her anything like that she just starts eating them. Never had any digestive issues with her eating it all but I hate seeing my Pippa so bored. She has plenty of room in her pen to run around and gets super excited and binkys all the time. Anyway, I guess what it comes down to is has anyone else had problems like this and might anyone have any ideas about new toys I'm not thinking of to keep her entertained?

Have you had her teeth checked? Maybe she needs her teeth trimmed? I know my Rascal chews EVERYTHING but that is because he needs his teeth trimmed (or at least I'm assuming so..lol) Bunnies like to chew on things. Some buns more than others.

Do you interact with her? Maybe try playing, talking to her, petting her...stuff like that, more often. I'm not saying you don't already do that because I don't know I just think maybe she wants more interaction.

If you go to the 99 cent store you can find baby toys that are great for tossing. Also bunnies love plastic balls. I have a few of them for my bunnies. The push them around and throw them. Fun to watch.

I keep an eye on her teeth during her cute bunny yawns to make sure they're not getting too long and they look fine but I'm no vet. I'll admit I don't get to play with her as often as I'd like, though I talk to her all the time, and I can tell she misses the interaction so it's something I'm working on. Never though about checking the dollar store for toys. I was worried about giving her plastic since she chews everything up but I'll definatley go out and look. Some of those toys look like a possibility too.

If she chews the plastic toys you get from the dollar store I'd take them away because plastic can't easily be digested and is not good for the buns. But if she doesn't chew it then she has some more toys! lol

Have you thought about possibly getting her a friend, since you aren't available as much as you'd like to be?

She may just be lonely.

I badly want to get her a friend. I have for a while now, but we're preparing to move 3 hours away here in a few weeks and my bf told me I'm not allowed to get another bun till we're settled. And I'm a little nervous about her getting along with another bun. She's rather aggressive and can be really territorial so I'm not sure about how the bonding will go. Never know till you try, so I have hope.

Is she neutered? My bunny Oskar was a little terror when it came to chewing before he was neutered, he would rip up everything in his path although he would also always do binky's and flops and was overall pretty happy. Once he got neutered he chilled out considerably.

If she is, and if you want to get another bunny, then just go bunny dating with her until she finds the proper mate to be her friend! Annabelle is the rabbit that I adopted after I got Oskar, and when I first came to see her the adoption center said she was very dominant, which is pretty common for females. I wouldn't worry about her aggressiveness, because you never know when she'll stumble upon the love of her life!
