This summer I will be taking a trip to Japan to visit family and will be gone for about 2 weeks. My friend, Kacey, has been kind enough to agree to take in Bugsy and Milo during that time. This will work out well because Maybelline will get the entire condo to her self while I am gone, and the boys will be able to run around at her house. Seeing as I have a giant 2x5x4 condo, I would not want to hassle her family with it. We need to come up with a temporary housing sitiation for two bunnies.

So far I have been thinking about buying another box of NIC cubes and setting up a 2×4 cage for them at her house, although it is not the best size, I dont think I can go any bigger, And then I would put some coroplast on the floor. Does anyone have any other ideas??? Thank you!

What about an x-pen – easy to fold up and store and easy to transport since it folds up.

That or an extra large dog crate and add a level or two that is easy to take out, if it needs a top (like if she has pets that might be dangerous to your buns). On the small side, but should be fine for two weeks if your bunny sitter has limited concerns.

I have a playpen, but it is not as big as an x-pen. it is a little wider than 2 grids and about 31/2 grids long.

Thank you for the ideas! I have considered a dog crate, but that would cost me about $60-$70 and i dont know how often the buns will be going to her house…
              Thank you though!(:
