Like wire covers, toys, etc. I’ve been getting mostly cat toys for Lola, and some homemade things, but I’d like to get stuff more suitable for bunnies. I’ve also been looking at every pet store around for wire covers and other things to bunny proof, but I’m having no luck; and I have no clue what to even google when it comes to rabbit specialized stores. Can you help?

I like the bunny websites online. First, the Binkybunny store of course. Then I like the Busy Bunny store. Some bunny sites, like the House Rabbit Society, may give some links to online stores.

Also, check out your local exotics vet. Some vets stock food and toys that are better for the animals they treat and are not sold in big chain pet stores. And if you tell your local hardware store manager what you’re making, they can often help you with good materials. (I was led to large, flat clear acrylic sheets that I used to stand up against bookcases to prevent bunny chewing of books. Never would have thought of it myself.)

I really like getting stuff from the Binky Bunny store (I promise I’m not just saying it because I use the forum). When you get stuff from places like this then you know it’s safe for your bunny and that other bunnies like these items! My favorites are the Cottontail Cottage and Bunny Surprise Bag.

I also get stuff from a local pet store that sells grass mats and Oxbow items. The biggest thing to watch out for is that many pet store sells items that are not safe for bunnies, like yogurt drops.
