During the recent hot weather my rabbit seems to have lost the plot – when she is in her house cage she continually moves all the sawdust from the floor of her cage into her house until its bulging at the seems and then moves all back out again?! Any Ideas of what she is doing?

likely she’s being a silly bunny – but if the sawdust is making her too warm that may be why she’s moving it?

Whoa sonik, that is a funny bunny! I have no idea why she’s like that.. but im in Chicago where the weather has been unbearable, and even though we have AC my bun is still hot, especially since she’s an angora. But i do know this, she loves ice cubes!! I swear, they are her favorite thing, she likes to lick ’em, bite ’em, and bath with ’em!

Sonik911 – Check out these links that go to other threads on this board.  One is about Ice Lollies, basically fancy ice-cubes – with juice and treats.  My bunnies love ’em (heat or no heat)
