Everyday at the same time my bunny Boo races out from under the sofa down the hall back into the living room, round the coffee table, through her tunnel and back under the sofa. She does this 5 or 6 times until she is knackered then sits and pants for a good ten minutes. I know bunnies do zooms when they are happy at having space to run. Is that what she is saying or is she saying something else. She sometimes throws in a binky or 2 as she is doing the zooming. Aswell as making little squeaks.

Sounds like what she is saying is WHEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

My bun will do the same thing – We call it the Bunny 500, and I have to be careful to look both ways when crossing the hallway.

Bunnies zoom and binky as a way to play.     So a bunny that feels good enough to play is happy  – as this site’s slogan goes  –  "A Binky Bunny is the happiest bunny on earth!"

In the wild,  bunnies zoom and binky for all kinds of reasons, many of which have to do with mating, fighting and escaping.  But just like when cats and dogs play  – like catch, stalk, shake toys etc., they originate from some sort of instinctual survival techniques.

So it sounds like your bunny has scheduled playtime into his daily routine.  CUTE!!!

Absolutely cute!!! Tallullu, your bunny is saying “I’m so happy I’m here!” Must be very very fun to watch! Boo is exhibiting her appreciation for your top notch care. =)

My bun Floppy, since she’s a lop, when she gets excited she starts swinging her ears around like little windmills as she frolicks about. That’s fun. It’s one of the signs that she may get into a long winded acrobatic routine. She also tends to get this look in her eyes that we all recognize. When we see her get that expression on her face, one of us says, “Look! She’s gonna binky! Oh, Floppy, do it!!!” and we all praise her when she’s done dancing. =)

Viktor is the one most likely to be seen on a zooming tear around our house 🙂 He’s always so full of energy
