I looked through the board to see if any of the previous posts fit, but not really. If I'm being redundant, I'm sorry.
I've had Lucy for about two weeks. I bring her with me to and from school every day. Lucy has been a very sweet little girl so far. She seems to really enjoy sitting on my chest while I read and pet her. She also loves running around my classroom doing binkies! Every day I fall in love with her more and more and couldn't imagine not having a little bunny in my life.
About two days ago Lucy starting digging at my shirt and nibbling similar to how my cats would suckle my clothes while they were kittens. Tonight I tried covering myself with a blanket so she could do her thing without hurting me. Unfortunately, my shoulder was not covered and Lucy chomped down on my shoulder, HARD! After screaming out in pain, I had my daughter put Lucy back in her cage.
I'm at a loss. I think my feelings hurt worse than my shoulder, but I don't really understand her behavior, if it should be a cause for concern or how to correct it if it is. She started licking my face and hands shortly before the digging/nibbling began. Are they connected? What am I doing wrong?
