I would like to introduce my bunnies, Snickers and Oreo. Snickers is 10 years old, and Oreo is approximately a year old.  Snickers is a Holland Lop and Oreo is a Mini Rex.  They are both indoor rabbits, and up until a few days ago were in the kitchen.  Now they are in our basement because of the extreme heat.

There bond was a super easy one! Which was wonderful for me because I was stressed out before doing it.  The only down side to my bunnies is that Oreo keeps getting GI Stasis! He is on a strict diet of timothy hay and pellets; nothing else.  The heat tends to bring it on.  No worries, though, we always have bene bac on hand.

        So, hello everyone!!

SO ADORABLE! I’m in the middle of beginning to bond my trio and they’ve made it incredibly easy so hopefully once they are all altered we can bond all 3 quickly. The pairs of them are all lovable and fine with each other but we’ve had to keep the unaltered male and unaltered female a part so hopefully the time away hasn’t hurt their bonding! I’m pretty confident it will be fine though.

Before I got Oreo fixed I had his cage close to Snickers’.  She is the female and he is the male.  I would let each bun out separately, and allow them to go over and sniff the other.  When they were out there was never any scuffling, just nose rubbing.  I hope your bonding continues nicely.  When they’re bonded and laying beside each other and grooming each other it is just the cutest thing!
