Hi there everyone.

I've been stalking around her for a while but thought I would finally introduce myself. I'm 24 from Ontario, Canada. And I actually got my first bunny this week.

A friend of mine needed to find a new home for her 2 year old Lionhead, Molly. She was moving to a place where the landlord had a bad experience with bunnies there before, therefore she couldn't bring her. I've never owned a bunny before but this is something my husband and I have spoken about for a long time. I actually used to be scared of them lol, but over time was able to become comfortable with them.

We are so lucky with how great she is. She is completely litter trained and handles being held really well. My friend showed me how to hold and calm her for clipping and grooming. She came with all the supplies. Her cage is 5f by 3f and 3f high approx, but we're working on having her free range. So far the last few days we've been gradually increasing her out time. Today was about 4 hours She is also doing amazing with our cats, our dog we have to watch cause she gets a little too curious hehe.

A little more about me... I'm a married mom of 2. We have many more pets.... a pug, 6 cats (2 are fosters), a snake, a hamster, and fish. I work at a local petstore and I foster for a local cat rescue. I'm lucky that my husband and I work oppisite shifts so we're able to be home with everyone.

Anyways I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Welcome! That's great things are going so well with the new bunny. Good too that it was your friend that had to deal with the litter training and teenage bunny hormones!
Love to see pics of Molly and the other furries (fish&snake included ).

A friend of mine lives in Empire Corners; we joke that she lives in the 'Canadian tropics'. I do envy her for the fresh produce she can buy out of people's orchards.
