Finn went in for his neuter yesterday and did great! I put him in his cage after the 2.5 hour drive home and let him relax for the night. When I went to feed him dinner he showed some interest in the salad and pellets, but when I woke up this morning about half of his pellets were left and a smidgen of greens. It also looks like his hay wasn't touched.
He has pooped, in fact he just did about 5 minutes ago. I'm concerned because his poops are about 1/4th of the size they're supposed to be. Is that ok?? Was he just mad at me for keeping him locked up all day/night and he was sulking and didn't feel like eating?
I'm going to leave the door to cage open and put his bowl and hay in the pen so he can nibbled without having to jump in and out of the cage.

He might still be a little groggy. It's normal for them to not be that interested in food this early on.
Does he have any swelling?

I'm glad the neuter went okay.
His poops are probably small because he isn't eating much hay right now. Hopefully, he will start eating normally soon and they will normalize. Try offering him some fresh herbs like cilantro or parsley. He's probably just still feeling a bit yucky from the anaesthetic.
Did the vet send you any pain meds?

Glad to hear he is doing better! I'm surprised they didn't give you any meds to take home!
