  So do we think ear size, or poss foot size might be an indication of how big bunnie will grow. Does anyone have any insight into this. Peppa we think is a dwarf lop and Georgie was said to be a netherland but must be a mix with those ears lol

  Georgie is definitely not a netherland – they have tiny mouse hears and big baby eyes…I don’t see any netherland at all in him.
  
  Honestly it’s hard to know how large they will get – I find that it cannot be told for certain how large any rabbit will get unless it’s for certain a Netherland and they have distinct characteristic or perhaps you get your rabbits from a breeder and you could tell that way by meeting the mother and father. I think most pet store rabbits are likely mixes.
  
  But I would say on an average most rabbits are in the medium size range which could be 5 to 8 or 9 pounds.

  I agree, not a Netherland mix. I have a Netherland and he has tiny features. Really small ear, flat tpe face, and almost no neck unless he is standing up on his back legs looking around.

  LOL no i didnt think she could be a netherland dwarf i suspect as she was very small that perhaps she was younger than they were saying. The dwarf lop peppa has very large feet which is what makes me wonder, they are about 6 inches dont know if that is normal. Everyone will be measuring their bunnies feet now lol xx

  I’m not sure that rabbits’ feet are an indicator of eventual size the way humans’ are. I think they tend to be large in the back no matter what size the bunny. I agree that an average rabbit runs 5-9 lbs. I had a mini rex who was not a mix with anything, but he got to be 8 lbs at one time. Not very mini!
  
  Often it’s determined not by the size of the feets, but the size of the treats.

  hummm… thats a good question peppa, I have a new baby coming home soon she’s a lion head/lopp cross, her mom is way bigger than dad, so I’m curious to see how big she will get, right now she’s just a tiny squirt!! she’s 6 weeks old today!!! Georgie is very pretty, and Peppa is too, very neat coat pattern!!

  Arrr thank you Sarah, yes i am very curious as to how big they will get, my other lop bunny cookie pictured in some of the other threads who is no longer with us was very small when we got her but grew really quite big. Yes i like that about the treats rabbitpam that funny lol
