can rabbits have Cherrys?

Something tells me no, but I don't have anything to back that up with. Haha. I can't find it on the list of stuff rabbits can have, but I can't find it on the list of no-no stuff either. I know that the wood and pits are poisonous, but beyond that I really don't know.

Well, I know the bark, twigs, leaf, and pits are toxic, but they don't talk about the actual fruit pulp.

mine eat the fruit after I take the seeds out. they love the stems.

Yes, bunnies can eat cherries...At least, the time I fed some my bun was fine Make sure you take out the pit first, and of course, feed in limited amounts...

As Sarita said, you have to be very careful that it's only the fruit part and nothing else. Someone in an earlier post suggested cutting the cherry into slivers as a treat. However, I found an article by Dana Krempels, and she lists them as one of the OK fruits. Here's the link. www.bio.miami.edu/hare/diet.html
