This was our first housebunny, Wilbur.  Wilbur came to us with GI stasis and never recovered.  I knew something was wrong because there was no eating, drinking, or poo happening.  I took him to the vet and found out he was actually a she, so we renamed her Rosie.  But she will always be Wilbur to me.  She was only with us for three days, but she really touched my heart and I feel like I need to pay tribute to her.  She was so sweet and loving, even though she was in pain.  Binky free, Wilbur, I will always remember you.

I’m very sorry for your loss. She was very beautiful. It’s very hard to lose a bunny even if they are only in your life a short while.

I am very sorry Wilbur/Rosie didn’t recover. Healing vibes to you, she’s not in pain anymore and one day you will be reunited with her over the rainbow bridge. In the mean time, she loves you and watches over you from the Divine Pasture. Hugs

I’m so sorry. Wilbur was very lovely. I’m sure her stay with you was a gentle gift that gave her rest in her final days.
