Hi everyone, I know I haven't posted here much lately, but I thought I'd update you since I posted about my cat Misha's health troubles when she was first diagnosed with congestive heart failure in October last year.
This morning she woke me up meowing and was breathing really heavily, so I took her to the vet. She was looking rough and tired lately so I had a feeling that the end was near. She had a lot of fluid in her lungs and the vet was going to draw some of it off, so I left her there for the procedure. Before they even started she coughed up blood and her heart stopped. I feel bad that I wasn't there at the end, but I don't know if it would have made a difference.
She was going to be 13 this summer. Not super-old, but since she had a congenital heart defect there's only so much you can do about that. At least I don't have to worry anymore about Mr. Bun-Bun tormenting and chasing her, and her swatting at him. 
RIP my kitty. She used to scratch everybody so I'll remember her by the scars she left on all my friends.
