I was told to wait 10-14 days to introduce the buns together in rascals room ( the buns are side by side in separate pens). They get along so well when they are in neutral territory in the pen. It's been about 8 days since they have been together in the pen I bond them. Should I try to see if they get along in rascals room now? They are both very wonderful bunnies. My plan was to put them in a pen in neutral territory for about an hour or so then being them back to the room and see how it goes.

Have they been 24-7 in the neutral area unsupervised no problems?

No, they can't be there 24-7 due to the dog but I usually have them there for 1-2 hours. I have left the room before but that was only once. I am pretty confident that I could leave them alone in the neutral area for a while without any problems.

What I did last night was I let Rascal out of his pen and let him go over to Valentine and Valentine didn't really like him in her turf. So I put Rascal back and let Valentine run around and she was very curious about Rascals area and Rascal didn't seem to mind. Then after a little bit I let the both of them out and Rascal wouldn't stop trying to nip her butt so I had to separate them. I think I will just continue the neutral area for a while.

I think it could be worth a try. Sometimes the males are not territorial. I once had a little netherland dwarf get into another males territory (both altered) and he was fine with it - they pretty much bonded themselves that way.

When I took my two male buns from the neutral space to the "bunny area" that my other two buns had already been living/playing in -- they had a small dominance battle and I didn't try to break them up (no one was nipping, biting or anything like that -- just humping) and after about 5 minutes everything went back to normal like in the neutral territory and they haven't had any arguments or such since! This all happened after they had been in the neutral area for only 3 days. As soon as I felt comfortable to leave them by themselves I let them out together but kept a spray bottle on hand just in case they fought. But they didn't.

hmmm I think I am just a little worried/scared they may end up fighting and injuring each other and I won't know what to do to break them up. I just have a spray bottle and towel on hand usually. I will try the bunny area again tomorrow and see what happens. Maybe Rascal was just trying to show dominance and I freaked out.

And I think Valentine (the girl bunny) is more territorial than Rascal is as far as I've observed.
