So something’s up, lady and Sam have been bonded for some time ( I’ll have to look up how long hah) and although lady has been pooping everywhere, there’s been no issues. Well they just now got in a scuffle  Fur pulled and everything, no blood or anything serious that I can see/ feel. They stopped themselves Quick but lady seems really bugged, she wouldn’t let Sam groom her  I gave em some pellets to lower the tension, they ate them without a fuss…ugh.

Is there anything in there area that maybe Sam can get in like a tunnel that Lady cannot. It’s funny but I had a lady who had a pair that adopted from me, Boo was a large lovely lady and CoCo was a small dapper gentleman and all of the sudden they just started getting into scuffles and the owner could not figure it out. So she brought them to me and I finally figured out that taking away all their boxes, tunnels, etc…was the answer – it seemed that Boo was upset because she really couldn’t get into the boxes and stuff – so I think it was really a territorial issue. Once we took all that out, they were at peace again.

Hmmm lady seems to be able to fit everywhere but there’s a couple toys I can take out. Their scuffle was in the middle of the foyer though, their normal hangout spot on the rug. I’m thinking maybe Sam heard a loud noise and jumped and maybe scared lady out of her normal dead sleep or something. They are loafing nose to nose now, aww and lady just started grooming SAMs ears so I think all is well…

Well, after grooming and hopping around, lady did some defensive binkies and there was almost a scuffle. They are in separate pens next to each other for tonight, I can’t sit with then anymore right now. This is really frustrating.

Try taking it all out and see what happens.

When my pair fought I *think* it was over crawling under the bird cage, which was just random cause they were fine for months with it and then poof Stickers was like “I WILL KILL YOU!” … so mine aren’t allowed any tunnels or anything they can crawl into anymore and they are very close now.

Ugh they are so confusing. So I’ve been watching them this morning, and they’ve been ok, not completely relaxed but not wanting to kill each other, but I then just saw Sam boxing at Lady and poor Lady is freaking out So Sam is in her pen and Lady is out for now. I took everything out but when they are free roam, I mean they can go under the bed and stuff. And I can’t take everything out of the livingroom hah. And unfortunately my H works today so I can’t just put them in an empty pen and watch them.

Still broken up. They tolerate each other for awhile, but then Sam starts chasing Lady and Lady gets all stressed out. She doesn’t fight back which is good, but she’s clearly agitated. They still groom each other though. And Lady will let Sam hump her, so it’s not a dominance thing.
