is this normal? I've been noticing that Fujoe has little eye boogers now, I don't remember him having them. Any reasons why? it's not a lot at all. . .I'm just curious..

my bun has lots of eye boogers at the moment! i had to wipe them off with a wet paper towel yesterday as little bit got stuck to fur. i think it's the heat as much as anything. he's getting lazy from it all!

ya, he did just go through a molt thing- bunny hair everywhere! He's still going through it, not as bad anymore. But they aren't bad, small, and he'll let me take them off of him. I just feel like a mom, "Fujoe! Stay still! You have eye boogers that I need to get out!" It's endering actually.

Sazemoo - Yeah, I'm not too good with heat either.   I become a miserable slouch and just melt into the couch, so if I had a coat of fur, I'm sure eye goobers would the last thing on my mind. If you notice that it's more than just eye goobers - more of an ongoing drip down the cheek that dries up then that is a different story.  

 

My new zealand red, Mabel, has new eye boogers for me to pluck every night, sometimes coated around an eyelash sitting at the corner of her eye. I think she EXPECTS her daily grooming from Mom. She's very good about it. Actually she's the most handlable bunny I own!
