Now that we know OJ is a he instead of a  she, HE is being neutered today.  So help me in wishing LPUFF peace of mind, and OJ –  happy healthy healing!!!

It’s normal for a bunny to need to rest. It’s best if he does anyway.   My vet told me to keep my bunny from running around.  After three days, my bunny was back to his normal self, and I did have to prevent him from jumping up on the couch (as I was told that was not good for him so soon)

Just make sure he continues to eat and poop! And if he refuses, call the vet, as sometimes they can offer pain meds, and/or gut motility drugs to keep the appetite going.

              Thanks for the update!

it sounds like he’s making a good recovery so far, I’m so glad to hear. Since he needs time to heal, you might want to limit his out time, so he focuses his energies on resting.
