My bunnies are about 3.3 lbs each. Was just wondering if you guys have any feeding suggestions in terms of quantity and when to feed them? Right now, I feed them about 1 cup of greens each morning and then give them a snack such as some apple or something when I get home from work, and then right before bed (about 12 hours before their morning meal), i give them 3 oz each of pellets. They always have alfalfa hay available to them. They are 6 months, so I am going to start mixing in timothy hay and slowly only give them that!

        Any changes I should make?

It really doesn’t matter when you give the pellets but that sounds just fine as far as diet. I put a bunch of greens out but he doesn’t eat all of them – doesn’t eat much at all really.

Definitely get them off the alfalfa hay soon and start on the timmy.

oh mine eat all of their greens right away, they never leave any for later lol..
if i still have pellets left over at the next feeding time should i discard them in the morning?

The amount recommended by the House Rabbit Society is 2 cups per up to 6 pound body weight.
