        For all those who where following about Chipmunk, he got his sutchers removed today!! and everything looks good so here are a couple of pictures of his healed foot!

            He had his toe removed correct? If so, Chipmunk can join the “missing toe” club with Lola. You can imagine my surprise when I went to clip her nails for the first time and discovered she only had 3 toes on one of her back feett. Makes her special and it makes Chipmunk special as well! Glad it healed so nicely!

              Ty, I talked to my vet and she did a histology exam on the removed digit to find what she thought was bone was a toenail growing backwards out the bottom of the toe. and inside the toe she found some kind of black tissue growth she is saying is a genetic abnormality. She said we were lucky to find it when we did because it could have grown and caused massive internal damage to the inside of his foot, so we saved his foot by doing it now. Thank god I noticed someting was wrong. so he is happily munching on some extra greens for being such a good boy, lol even gave him a piece of the sacred Banana!!!

                Oh wow, I missed a lot…but I am very glad that he is all healed up and hopefully will not have any more health problems!
